Course Overview


Validated by NCFE, this accredited qualification is ideal for those wanting to teach in the lifelong learning sector, or those already teaching within the sector but do not have the relevant qualifications. The qualification would be suitable for candidates who would like to be able to teach a range of subjects.

Modules covered by the qualification are: Roles, responsibilities and relationships in lifelong learning; Understanding inclusive learning and teaching in lifelong learning; Using inclusive learning and teaching approaches in lifelong learning; Principles of assessment in lifelong learning. Candidates will also be able to explore the principles and practices of assessment within lifelong learning.

Entry requirements


Candidates must be aged 19 years and above and have the necessary English, Mathematics and Information Communication Technology skills required to undertake this qualification

Assessment


Candidates will need to complete four portfolio-based assignments and a reflective account. Candidates will also need to prepare and deliver a 15-minute micro-teach session. One completion of the micro-teach session the candidates will then need to complete a self-evaluation form and give in-depth feedback to other courses members on the micro-teach course, as well as receive tutor and peer feedback.

Cost


For College based course dates the cost is £299.00 per learner.
